Reading
Notes on books and articles I've actually read, structured so the ideas survive.
Updated 46 min ago
Notes from books and long-form articles. These aren't summaries — they're the handful of ideas worth remembering plus a few quotes I want to be able to find again.
The goal is to make it cheap to ask: "didn't I read something about X?" and actually find it.
Format
Each page roughly follows:
- One-liner — what's the book actually about.
- Why it stuck — what shifted in my thinking.
- Key ideas — 3-7 ideas I want to keep.
- Quotes — short, exact, attributed.
- Where it shows up — concrete situations where I've reached for these ideas.
What's not here
- The full insights library on btay.io — that's a separate collection of research-grade PDFs with AI-generated summaries. Reading here is the personal-notes version.
